MURCIA
The city of Murcia has a huge amount of interesting places to visit as the history goes back 800 years where it was originally founded as part of Cordoba. Certainly amongst the famous visiting points is the Cathedral de Santa Maria. Finished in the 15th' century the cathedral is the most impressive monument of Murcia.
The city is divided by the Segura River, which has an abundance of wildlife with many different species of birds. It is also possible to fish carp, being the main fish. Murcia offers the some of the most interesting tapas in the whole of Spain. There are a large number of bars and taverns with truly great tapas. The most popular are in the area around the Plaza de Flores [flowers square] and the University area called Santa Eulalia.
MAZARRON
Mazarron is actually two towns in one. There is the main town with its town hall, daily indoor fresh produce market, banks shops etc. Then the pretty seafront Puerto de Mazarron with its marina, seafront restaurants, shops and the beautiful tree lined promenade. At night it’s hiving with all the locals out for there nightly walk. It is also know as the Cornwall of Spain with its pretty coves and harbours pedestrianised walkways The coastal areas of Mazarron boast some of the finest beaches in Spain. During the long hot summer months the water temperature rises to that of a warm bath so it's the ideal place to master sports such as sailing, windsurfing, water and jet skiing as well as providing safe bathing for children. The town hall organises many attractions for all including mountain walking, sub-aqua diving, sailing, and a variety of other activities live music and street party most evenings during the summer.
LO PAGAN
Lo Pagan on the Mar Menor is best know for its therapeutic mud baths, the mud has been renowned from early times for its healing powers. Due to the long hours of sunlight and very high salt level in the water a unique mud has been created in a section of the lake known as La Puntica. The mud contains high levels of potassium, calcium, magnesium, fluoride, sulphur and chlorine. The mud is to help with many skin conditions such as acne, abscesses, sores and ulcers. It is also recommended for rheumatism, arthritis gout even broken bones.
CARTAGENA

LA MANGA
The area of the Mar Menor [ little sea ] is almost totally separated from the Mediterranean sea due to the La Manga de Mar Menor, which means 'sleeve of the little sea'. This a small strip of land around 13 miles long which makes the lagoon of the Mar Menor.
It's fascinating to see the kind of sea which looks like a lake. The sea temperatures never drop below 17c due to it only being 8 meters deep.
